Amelia is now 6 and 1/2 months old!

Things are happening fast with our little daughter. She is an old pro at sitting up now and can multi-task while sitting on the floor or in the tub. Her favorite thing to do is taste and chew on everything around her as a way to explore her environment. Amelia has been acting like she may be teething for a while now, but nothing yet. She survived daycare cold #2 (which she promptly gave to daddy by drooling into his mouth while playing airplane...) but both victims have recovered well.

Amelia can pull herself to a stand now if you give her something solid to grab- and she can even stay standing for about 3 minutes before she crashes to the ground on her rubber band legs.

She smiles all the time, and is really developing her own personality. We are doing sign language with her for "eat" "milk" and "all done"... Waiting to see if it is something she likes to use- they even do it at daycare which is great. While it would be great to communicate more with her, this is a pretty fun age and we're trying to enjoy every minute.

Amelia's still not a big sleeper, but even that is getting a little better.
