I don't know where the time has gone... Suddenly we have a little toddler on our hands!! Amelia is walking/running all over the place now - still falling, but picking herself up! She can tell you where her eyes, nose, mouth and ears are and definitely understands simple commands. She is talking more, but probably only intelligible to mama and dada, though she can say AhMeeNah (did you understand that?). The babbling continues with Bee-Dah-Bah and Loh-Doh-Doh. And everything is still called GAH - including fish, flowers, dog and giraffe.
This summer we've gone to a couple Red Sox games, visited the NE Aquarium and celebrated Mama's birthday, but sadly fall is here in Boston already!
We had a fun trip to Cody, WY for Grandma Garrett's birthday celebration in early September and got to meet the whole Garrett clan. Amelia took to the big girl cousins immediately :)
She really loves water - whether it's drinking, pouring it out of cups, swimming or splashing in the bath. She enjoys her bath times with Daddy for sure.
We are also fully in the I'll-feed-myself phase, messy
but fun, although we're always trying to get her to eat more. The smart girl will offer to share any food she doesn't want to eat herself. Although it is really fun when she feeds us instead of the other way around.
